Our History
Peterson Foundation Drilling & Testing was established in 1972. The company was incorporated and the name was changed to Peterson Drilling and Testing, Inc. in 1992. The company was located on the Claude Highway from 1992 to 1995. In 1995 it was moved into a new 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility located at 1700 S.E. 22nd Avenue in Amarillo. The company employs fourteen key personnel. In November of 1998, a building was purchased at 5853 49th Street in Lubbock, Texas. The building was renovated and on January 2nd, 1999, we opened our office to serve Lubbock and the surrounding area.
Peterson Drilling and Testing, Inc. is certified by the state of Texas as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB).
